MEGALINEAR OPEN LENGTH

Stable, precise movement over long travel.

MEGALINEAR open-length timing belts use thermoplastic polyurethane for wear and abrasion resistance. Parallel zinc-coated steel tension members provide high breaking load and very low elongation, supporting dependable motion under high tractive effort.

Tight manufacturing tolerances provide dimensional stability. Nylon fabric can be added on the teeth and/or belt back, while an extra polyurethane backing can protect the belt when moving aggressive or heavy products.

Polyurethane body

White thermoplastic polyurethane, 92 ShA, selected for flexibility and resistance to wear, shock and surge loading.

Tension members

High-strength S and Z parallel zinc-coated steel cords provide load capacity, dimensional stability and extremely low elongation.

Running surfaces

Nylon fabric is available on the teeth and/or back to refine friction, noise and running behaviour for the application.
